EQRA HASSAN

For Eqra Hassan, success is deeply personal.

Born in Somalia and coming to Australia as a refugee, Eqra grew up with an understanding that opportunity is something you make the most of. From an early age, she developed a relentless desire to improve, achieve more and create a life beyond what was expected of her. She is driven not by where she started, but by how far she knows she can go.

Raised by her mother as part of a large family, Eqra witnessed firsthand the sacrifices made to give her and her siblings a better future. It shaped both her perspective on life and the relentless work ethic she carries today. Her greatest motivation is also remarkably simple: to become successful enough to give her mum the life she deserves.

That sense of purpose is what drew Eqra to real estate.

Before entering the industry, she built experience across hospitality, community support and demanding warehouse environments, developing a strong foundation in communication, adaptability and service. Her work supporting people within the community also strengthened something that comes naturally to Eqra, the ability to listen, empathise and connect with people from all walks of life.

Having since completed her REIQ Registration Program, Eqra is bringing that same drive into her real estate career.  Fluent in English and Somali, with an understanding of Arabic, she is particularly passionate about building genuine relationships across Brisbane’s diverse communities.

Eqra knows what it means for a family to search for somewhere to call home. She also understands that property can represent far more than four walls, it can represent security, opportunity and the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

Her story started with her family searching for a better life. Now, she’s determined to build one for them.
